This couple makes my job feel like it is all worth it what I am doing. They came to me but only had a budget of a certain amount but because they love what I do and love the work that I create they found themselves spending more than originally planned. I just love knowing that my work is special to some folks. Usually the groom is the nervous one when it comes to shooting time but this time it was the bride to be Veronica. She was so cute I don't like this but in the end she told me she had fun. This wedding was in one of my favorite wineries in Livermore CA. Murrietta Wells its got beautiful Spanish like architecture. Hillary's gorgeous wedding dress matched what the venue was like a touch of Spanish style. Joshua and Hillary were really sweet the way the looked at each other the whole day it was adorable.

I photographed Maria and Darrin in Embarcadero in San Fransisco. This particular day it seemed that everyone and their grandparents were there. It was extremely crowded but we made the best of it in trying to avoid lots of people in their photos. Some people were down right rude when politely asked if they can kindly move for a minute while I took a photo. The world isn't what it was like 10yrs back. Even Maria who lives in the city was taken back. Anyhow it was a beautiful warm sunny day in September.

This wedding was at a cute town called Crockett in a venue named Homestead. It was the very first Home of the town's founder I believe. Its supper cute. What can I say about Thomas and Ashley they are the most sweetest couple and very lovable. I have known Ashley for awhile and when she meet Thomas it was a very short courtship but I can see how much they are in love. At their wedding they hung out together never letting go of one another, at most weddings the bride will hangout with the girls sometimes and vice versa with the guys but not these two they stuck to each other like glue. I have photographed Ashley many times before and I never get bored she is stunning. God Bless!

I meet Tarrah at our yearly downtown brides day out bridal fair here in Brentwood. From the moment I meet her I thought she was so lovely. We got to speak with each other and she mentioned how she was having her wedding at The Grand Island Manson this place is unreal. So we meet at a consultation after the show and I was supper excited that they used my services and even more excited that I was going to be shooting a beautiful couple at a beautiful venue. This was a small wedding in San Fransisco at City Hall. City Hall is a stunningly beautiful back drop for beautiful pictures. This couple wanted to shoot their engagement session at the Black Diamond Mines in Antioch. The place is huge and its got great hills and landscape is kinda like the wild wild west feel. But it really did reflect their personalities because they brought their cute dogs which I had the pleasure in meeting. They are dog lovers big time so we had to have them in the photos. The wedding was on June 25th the same day as my own wedding but 16 years earlier. Their wedding was in Monterey always a beautiful location for a dream wedding. The brides dress was perfectly designed and tailored to her body it was simple but beautiful. Who wouldn't want a wedding near the sea the crisp air and it was just lovely. I shot there engagement pictures at the Marina in San Leandro and part of it in Alonso's dad backyard because he is a gardner. At first I was hesitant in doing backyard photos because I didn't want to have pictures look like they were shot in the backyard but once I got there and looked at it I was in awh! It was incredible what he has done its totally gorgeous. Anyhow Leandra and Alonso are a very modern couple with great ideas of there very own, Alonso is into biking he has a harley and Leandra is into modern things so when we do the Trash the Dress she wants to do something out of the ordinary. They're wedding was held at Mare Island a really unique place in Benecia Ca. It was an old navy base and now its just there. They have old mansions that can be rented and its very cool. They also have a beautiful chapel called St. Peters chapel which is so beautiful inside. It was a very unique place. The reception itself was outside on the lawn behind the mansion where the couple got ready. I just wish I had the opportunity to shoot more it went really fast. But Sonia was stunning.

I shot this engagement session in Sacramento part of it in Old Sacramento and then the state capital. This couple they are so darling they kinda remind me of barbie and ken. But what is so great about them is they are so in love with each other and that they are really down to earth even though they are extremely pretty. Funny story or not so funny depending how you look at it. In the middle of our shoot I had to get another empty card but when I went to get one I forgot my cards at home, well you can imagine I was sweating bricks. I told them though I need to stop at a Walgreens, Walmart or target whichever is the closest they were really cool about it and thank God I was in Sacramento but if I were in the boonies I wouldn't be able to get a card just like that. I don't know what the heck I was thinking. They were really okay with it they said don't worry we are a great couple to do that with no worries just don't do it for the wedding and I'm like it will never happen again. I triple check, quadruple check to make sure my cards are there, I had them waiting to be picked up on the counter but I guess on the way out the door I just didn't look back. Anyhow hasn't happened since and I thought they were the coolest. Thanks for the patience.

They were married on June 5, 2011 and the day before even the week it had been raining and no reprieve from it in site or so I thought. Even the day of it, it still had bits of down pour but when I got to her parents house the sun slowly started coming out what a beautiful site. The wedding was held in one of my favorite spots The Brazilian Room and looking down at Tilden Park. I really love this location the beautiful landscape is just wow! The couple live in Nevada so there used to beautiful scenery all around and this was truly a spectacular location for them. Now when I got to the site it was cloudy and I thought for sure it would rain but miraculously it didn't and shortly after they said their I do's the sun came out for an hour and half. It stayed pretty much overcast but boy beautiful light I got really lucky. After the wedding was done the next day it poured. Anyhow this couple is supper sweet and Scott had just graduated and is now officially Dr. Scott Silver. God Bless!

This wedding was held in Walnut Creek at Scotts Garden. It was a lovely wedding in a wonderful part of Walnut creek. Kimberley Glowed with happiness she smiled from ear to ear it was pleasure to see that. This place is an awesome place to shoot because it never really gets to sunny it has really good lighting, so when its sunny it usually stays in shade which is awesome. But not only that, it feels like a little chateau with the brick and ivy. I did have them get into an area where there was a water wheel for a background but didn't realize there were viscous ants well the poor groom and I kept shaking off ants. Its funny now but then I was very itchy.

I have known Michaela a long time and when she told me she was getting married I joked with her and said well do you need a wedding photographer. I didn't expect her to even meet with me about her wedding but she and her really sweet finance did and the rest is history. Her wedding will be held in Costa Rica in January so stay tuned for that. I worked with Michaela in the past actually at a Wolf/Ritz camera for a long time then she went her way and I went mine until we hooked up in Facebook which is a wonderful thing. On the day of her engagement session we were suppose to have gone to Tilden Park in Berkeley and since we live not to far from each other we were going to ride together, well since I was busy and my head was lost in space for whatever reason that day I was at Tilden Park waiting for them but they never showed up so I called and that's when I Michaela mentioned to me we were suppose to come along together and I said oh yeah!! Well it worked out I drove back home and we did a wonderful little session in Brentwood which still has an outdoorsy feel. I am silly sometimes.

This wedding was on April 30 in Emeryville. Gwen was such a beautiful bride and Damien such a handsome fellow. I really enjoyed photographing this wedding by the bay. She had a rocky start didn't know if it was going to through she originally was going to have her wedding at the San Ramon country club but finances kept it from happening, but due to the love and support of her family they helped her find this location and the wedding turned out beautiful just the same. I shot this wedding on May 29, 2011 at the Martinelli Center in Livermore. It was such a windy day that day it was so crazy. Everything turned out beautifully though despite the wind. This couple has such a warm and fun and a friendly personality that they glowed. This location is one of my favorite places to shoot because of its architecture and vines although the vines weren't big at all at the time but whats great about it is we can go out there and take as many pictures because they don't mind. Certain locations like wineries only dictate a specific location we can be at but not here. It was lots of fun!

Amanda and Scott wanted to have their picture taken in San Fransisco so they suggested Golden Gate Park and I am up for anything. Although they didn't exactly know where we should shoot so I made a suggestion at the Japanese Gardens and so I arrived a little bit earlier than them and I snooped all around and fell in love with the De Young Museum, well just the outside of it. This place is really cool so we never made it to the Japanese Gardens but we shot in front of the De Young which is a neat place on its own and outside of it which had some killer reflections. Ashley and I planned this photo shoot for awhile and came up with different ideas and I wanted to do a somewhat time based theme but still feel modern. So I always had something for the 1940's era so we kinda did that. I shot Ashley and Thomas in Byron its close to home but its very remote so we had access to alot of locations rural and empty roads. She had Joe Fransisco Creatives also join us for the video of the engagement session but Ashley informed that he is going to show the video only at the wedding, I can't wait to see it. If anyone is interested in a cinematic style videographer Joe is definitely that. Anyhow, I had so much fun shooting Ashley and Thomas even though the winds were hurricane like it still turned out pretty cool. At the end of one side of the trail there are these old houses in the back of a library which feels very wild wild west. This was an interesting shoot, it was super windy and we were fighting the wind the whole time. Denise and Mike were such troopers I must say. This couple is so sweet they are studying to be doctors. Adrienne wants to be a surgeon and Scott is more into a doctor that doesn't do surgery. They both meet at school, Scott is originally from New York and Adrienne from California. They went away for the weekend in Southern California to a location called Temecula where there is lots of wineries and also a great big casino. Well they went up for a romantic get away and trying out their wines and I got the opportunity to shoot their engagement session in Temecula. The first winery was called Thorton Winery and we ended the shoot at South Coast Winery. More pictures of their wedding to come they will be getting married on June 5, 2011 stay tunned.

It was a very cold day in early December when I shot this couples Day After Session. Okay so it wasn't totally the Day After more like 3 months later which was a stark contrast to their actual wedding. On their wedding day it was really hot so I kept telling Andrea to think summer and she told just think back to our wedding day. But regardless, they were such troopers we shot this session at a property that is owned by Nathan's grandma which I think is in the process of being taken down for rebuilding but thank goodness it was still there for our session what a unique place. We had fun.

I loved photographing Andrea she has such an amazing personality and smile. She was such a trooper on her wedding day. It was one of those days that rained stopped raining got a little sunny back to gloomy back to sunny again, it was a little crazy. However, I thank God that it held up for us just enough time for us to do pictures of the bride and groom and the family photos. As soon as we went into her reception area it poured. When I photographed the two of them I felt that they were so adorable and had a sense of humor about them. They will be getting married on November 20, 2010 so stay tunned for their pictures. It was such a warm day when we shot their photos but they were such troopers.
